My clinical background is psychiatry and I work as an associate professor at St. Vincent's Mental Health and Melbourne University. Currently, I hold a number of roles including: Co-Director of AAMH, Director of the International Unit, Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne, Deputy Clinical Director of the Professorial Unit at the Melbourne Clinic and Site Director for the WHO Collaborating Centre in Mental Health in Melbourne. I coordinate the Asia-Pacific Community Mental Health Development Project which involves 14 countries to promote best practice in community mental health care. I also work collaboratively with the Ministry of Health and National Mental Health Centre in China in psychosocial aid in disasters.
