Summary report of the 2011 November Melbourne Conference now available:

The APCMHDP network is an unique and innovative project aims to illustrate and inspire best practice in community mental health care in the Asia-Pacific region. A vibrant network of mental health government officials, chief psychiatrists and research leaders are engaged in this project from seventeen countries.

Asia Pacific art and mental health symposium
    
Asia Pacific Art and Mental Health Symposium, jointly hosted by Asia Australia Mental Health and The Dax Centre. This symposium aimed to exchange ideas and experiences about the role art can play in the promotion of mental health in communities in the Asia Pacific region.

St. Vincent’s Hospital, Fitzroy, Victoria.

This one‐day seminar featured presentations from mental health leaders from 18 countries and regions, covering diverse community mental health promotion, policy and practice developments. The seminar is of particular interest to mental health professionals, administrators and community workers who wish to broaden understanding of mental health care across the Asia‐Pacific region.

Publication launch: 2011 Summary Report, Asia Pacific Community Mental Health Development Project - Partnerships

Partnerships in Community Mental Health is the focus of the 2011 APCMHDP Summary Report. This distinctive regional text is the latest from the Regional Project which fosters dialogues aimed at promoting best and creative practices for community mental health care. The Report documents the working principles of building community mental health partnerships and its application for the Asia-Pacific region.
