Asia-Australia Mental Health has experience and acknowledged expertise in developing and delivering tailored training programs in a wide variety of areas related to international community mental health.  

 

So far, these have included: mental health policy and service development, mental health promotion, mental health leadership, mental health advocacy, case management and aggression management. A wide range of stakeholders, including government policy makers, academics, psychiatrists, nursing and allied health staff, have benefited from AAMH training programs.

Several highly successful and well-established training programs have been developed by AAMH with partners across the Asia-Pacific region. In particular, read further about our training programs with China, Korea and Malaysia.

 

A training program for individual mental health clinicians from the Asia-Pacific region is run by the International Unit, Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne, St. Vincent's Mental Health. Please see the POST website for details.
