Postgraduate Overseas Specialists Training Program   (POST Program)


The Postgraduate Overseas Specialists Training (POST) Program is a clinical training program for mental health clinicians from across the Asia-Pacific region. Through the facilitation of short-term (2 weeks – 12 months) clinical placements within the Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne, the program aims to enhance the development of advanced clinical knowledge and skills in psychiatry.

Placements are offered in a variety of sub-specialty areas including:
 
  • community psychiatry
  • aged psychiatry
  • child and adolescent psychiatry
  • consultation-liaison psychiatry
  • psychotherapy
  • PTSD and related disorders
  • psychopharmacology
  • substance abuse and addiction psychiatry
  • parent-infant psychiatry
